Capacity Building Programme:

The goal of CBP is to support partner NGOs, Community Board Organisations (CBO), civil society institutions and religious bodies in developing individual and institutional capacity, broadening an organisation’s skill base and enhancing good governance practices within their institutional framework. CBP supports partner organisations through a variety of training programmes and consultancy projects.

One of the special components of the CBP portfolio focuses on bringing attitudinal change at an early age. School children and youth are given social rights awareness and political education through a series of training programmes. A rural teachers training programme helps teachers implement joyful learning techniques in their classrooms.

International trainers are invited to share global perspectives and practices. The programme portfolio caters to the rural communities, youth members of Christian community as well as working professionals, throughout the humanitarian sector. Broad programme objectives work toward creating awareness, interfaith harmony, peace initiatives, tolerance and gender balance. Under this programme several projects are being implemented, utilising the basic tools of training, networking and information sharing.
