Sri Lanka: Humanitarian Quality and Accountability Capacity Building

- Beneficiaries Lutheran World Relief implementing partners and ACP members in Sri Lanka
- To enhance the capacity of humanitarian workers in basic knowledge and understanding of Sphere and HAP Standards.
- To raise awareness about HAP and Sphere initiatives among Lutheran World Relief partners in Sri Lanka.
- To share lessons and experiences among the participants.
- To develop future plans to ensure that the knowledge gained during the training is reflected during implementation of all the projects in future.

Capacity Building of Humanitarian Workers in Sphere Minimum Standards

- Location Swabi, Mardan, Abottabad, Islamabad and Peshawar
- Duration 6 months, July - December 2010
- Beneficiaries 195 humanitarian workers and 20 trainers
- To equip 100 humanitarian workers in basic knowledge of Sphere.
- To produce 20 new trainers on Sphere.
- To enhance skills of 75 humanitarian workers already possessing basic knowledge on Sphere.

IDP Humanitarian Accountability: Capacity Strengthening of Aid Agencies

- Beneficiaries CWS-P\/A, partner national NGOs, HAP member agencies and indirect - IDPs
- Developing capacity of the aid workers and aid agencies through trainings and technical support to deliver more accountable and quality services to the beneficiaries.
